We used this company to move a 3 bedroom home. The movers showed up earlier than promised. The movers worked super hard and moved everything in a little more time than estimated which is no problem since our furniture was super heavy and it was a long drive to the new house.

Standard insurance covers up to $50,000 total with $100 deductible by the customer if there are any claims and a maximum of $400 per piece of furniture.
Anything not physically packed and unpacked by our staff is uninsurable because we do not know the contents inside the boxes or how it was packed.
Due to the nature of this situation we had offered the customer the maximum of $400 out of pocket for this claim. Not through insurance because the item was packed by the customer and voided the insurance claim policy.
We haven't heard from the customer since the incident but we have agreed to the settlement.
