My husband and I met with a Nutri-lawn representative at the Home Show in Hamilton last year. At first the people at the booth put on a great spread telling us cwaht products they use and the applications involved. We then decided to hire them on. What a mistake that was! The first 2 applications went okay other than for the fact the guy that was applying product was slamming their competitors for their products and service voluntarily, my wife and I thought this does not seem like the people we met at the show. For the next set of applications we had arranged for our neighbour to open the rear gate for them to come in while at work. Our neighbour contends that this guy pulled up and knew from the instructions given that no-one was home placed a sign on our lawn that a product was applied and drove off. When I got home we could not believe what happened and called the company rep. to see what they had to say and the applicator told me on the phone he put on a weed killer when I knew he did not. The next appointment I told them the same instructions as before that we will be at work. This time I watched from my neighbours house the guy pulled up looked around and placed another sign on the lawn and drove away. I immediately called the manager and explained both incidents he was rather beligerent and rude even though I told him there were 2 witnesses. I immediately demanded that I be re-imbursed on my credit card or my husband will make a visit to see them. I was surprised that they refunded my money right away as I checked with a Visa rep. I was glad they gave our money back but please for your money and lawns sake STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!!
