I have been experiencing slow drainage for over a month now and I didn't thinnk much of it until the water in the toilet and sinks took over 5 minutes to drain. I read about DrainRooter here on HomeStars and gave them a call. Fero came in about 1.5hr and did a camera inspection and it turned out that I had tree roots in my drain. Fero told me what had to be done and the cost. I agreed because I knew they were a reputable company that guarantees their work and others have had a good experience with them. Once Feros drain crew came, they begin digging where the roots were located. Fero replaced the clay pipe with a plastic pipe. My water has been draining perfectly since then. Overall, I had a great experience, fair pricing and friendly staff. Recommend DrainRooter to all

Company Response

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, we appreciate it! It is our mission to provide all our clients with timely dispatched plumbers as well as reasonable prices. We take a lot of pride in being named HomeStars Best Plumbers of Toronto Award that was presented to us. It reminds us that doing what you love will help you excel and provide top quality work. Bugoslawa, tree roots are a very common problem in older homes, where the trees are large and used to planted close to the house for a more appealing look. Now, trees are planted a minimum of 10 meters away from the home in order to prevent tree roots from damaging drain pipes. As for your home, you can be stress-free because Fero was able to replace the drain and cut the roots all around the excavated area. It will take over 15 years for those roots to grow back to their original size. If you have any other plumbing issues or would like to have more drain work done, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We look forward to working with you in the future. Regards, DrainRooter Plumbing team
