Regency gas fireplace installation and finishing
An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
We had an excellent experience with Fireplace West last Christmas (2014). We wanted to change two old gas stoves that were heating our rec and family rooms. While comparing products, we decided to change the family room stove to a fireplace, incorporate it into a large existing curved brick wall and drywall everything. We chose Fireplace West because we liked Robin when he came to scope the job, he was knowledgeable about manufacturers and models and was price competitive. We were pleased with everything--- installation, product, courteous manner and cleanup. His brother Dana has amazing drywall skills. We had a malfunctioning thermal switch which was changed promptly and cheerfully. Highly recommended. (See the before and after photos)
