My furnace blower motor decided to seize on the coldest night of the year. I called Afterglow and asked them if a tech could come on-site and fix the problem. My furnace is over 20 years old and the lady taking my call was very honest by saying they couldn't guarantee that they could find a spare part but would do their best. The tech, Paul, arrived about 2 hours after as promised. He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. Unfortunately it was impossible to find an original spare part at first. We went through a couple of options (including trying to find an alternative motor and potentially drilling new holes in the enclosure to make brackets fit) but after calling the vendor Olsen and getting a recommendation for an alternative motor, Paul was able to locate one with one of the wholesalers they deal with. He drove out there to pick it up and was back at my house in no time at all. Long story short: Everything was fixed, our house is nice and cozy again and the bill was fair. I will give Afterglow my furnace and HVAC business from now on and highly recommend them to others. The fact that they are a family business just makes it so much more rewarding to work with them. 10 stars, without a doubt.
