After researching different home inspection companies in Ottawa I chose Reliance Home Inspection based on very positive reviews. I contacted Manjur and arranged the inspection during PDI (PreDelivery Inspection by owner), at half Moon Bay, builder Mattamy. I had an opportunity to visit my house before PDI and I knew it had issues, I just wanted a professional to check everything and find what ether I didn’t notice. Manjur came well equipped. He checked everything from foundation to shingles on the roof and used heat scanner to find possible leaks or drafts. He had taken a lot of pictures too. He took his time and never rushed me. He showed me some issues to discuss with the builder right on the spot as I had a PDI at the same time. Finally Manjur was able to find about twice more deficiencies then what I found. Some of them were quite serious mistakes or poor quality control by the builder. After my PDI was over, Manjur answered my questions. He was very professional and intelligent. He explained to me whatever I wasn’t clear about. Manjur e-mailed to me his comprehensive report with pictures later same day. It was easy to understand because each point of his report had a reference to a picture reflecting the issue. At the end I was pleased I did a right choice. I would definitely recommend Reliance Home Inspection to others or use again in future myself.
