Everything about this purchase - furnace, AC, and hot water heater - has been perfect. Farhad at Cozy World provided a prompt response to our request for a detailed quote, carefully explained our options, and did not in any way try to upsell us on any part of our potential purchase - we did that ourselves! Then, the installation technicians were amazing. The cramped design of our townhouse made removal of the old components challenging, but these incredible technicians - Fred and Mahmoud - were more than up to this backbreaking task. Likewise, in other renovation projects here, we've found issues with the initial construction of the townhouse, and Fred did, too. And corrected them, with the result that he had to work a brutally long day. We really appreciate the very professional work that these guys did - and to top it off, they were so nice and helpful throughout the entire installation. Finally, Cozy World was terrific in submitting the various forms for rebates. I'll confess now to a bit of skepticism over the number of perfect reviews Cozy World had received on HomeStars - part of the reason we called them initially. Now I absolutely understand why; clearly, our overwhelmingly positive experience is not unique. Our thanks to the entire Cozy World team for making this happen. We have already begun to share our experiences with friends and family.

I would unhesitatingly recommend Reid's Roofing to family and friends. We’ve been in this 20-year-old townhouse for 2 years, and the roof has loomed as an issue for us during that time. This spring, we requested quotes from a number of different contractors. Only Reid’s and one other contractor told us that we needed only a partial reroofing – that the south-facing part has been redone within the past 3 or 4 years. When I asked whether it wouldn’t make sense to simply do the whole thing, Steve, who was quoting the job, said that it truly wasn’t necessary. Reid’s provided estimates for 3 grades of shingles. I’d expressed an interest in the intermediate grade, but Aaron encouraged me to go with the less-expensive choice, partly so that the shingles would match those that had already been installed on adjacent townhouses, and partly because he felt that for our project, the difference in cost wasn’t justified. On installation day, the crew arrived at exactly the specified date and time and worked relentlessly. As they removed our shingles, they found that our neighbours’ roof was in fairly grim shape in places. On their own initiative, Reid's fixed a good part of the neighbours' upper roof so that they would be able to get through the winter without problems. After the new roof was on, they cleaned up meticulously and used a magnet to locate any roofing nails scattered on the ground. Everyone we met from Reid’s – Aaron, Steve, and everyone on the crew - was incredibly friendly and helpful. A roof is only an occasional acquisition, and it’s not a cool, fun purchase, so it’s hard to know where to start when researching it. Even with some facts gleaned from research, we were reliant on the expertise of our contractor. We are so happy that we found Reid’s Roofing and are grateful for the expertise that they shared.
