I hired the Mixedesigns Design Bar renovate my Kitchen and Bathroom. I wanted some custom touches added to make the rooms unique and to fit my personality. Sean brought my vision to life for me! He built a vent hood and "X's" for the sides of my island. All it took was a quick conversation and showing him a few pictures of what I was hoping for and he was able to tell me what was possible with my space, existing specs and my budget. The craftsmanship of the pieces is amazing, he matched the wood to my flooring perfectly, which was important to me and once installed (they were built and installed very quickly) they made a huge impact on how the kitchen looks! For the bathroom I wanted to save the existing vanity cabinetry given the amount of storage it provided but really didn't like the color of the finish. I was a bit nervous about getting them sprayed as I thought it would be messy, chip easily and just be easier to replace it. Sean reassured me of the outcome and process of having it sprayed and I'm SO HAPPY i did this. He uninstalled everything and took it offsite to be sprayed and then reinstalled it. I had it sprayed a navy blue and also had him replace all of the hardware. The spray job looks amazing - i wanted a bold look in this room and never could have done this with buying a standard store vanity or my budget. Again - Sean was able to bring my vision to reality. Sean is awesome at what he does and is very easy to work and communicate with - I'd highly recommend you reach out to Design Bar as the process was painless, fast and worth it! The problem for me is wanting more...I'm now working with Sean to build a custom dining table for me to complete my new space even more!

Over the past year we went through our first home reno – not only was it a reno it was a full tear down of an old bungalow so we could start from scratch and build our dream house – it was exciting and scary given the scale of the project. Tony managed our project from the very start and continues to help us and stays in touch to make sure we are happy with our new home. Our house is beautiful, we could not be happier. Everyone who comes to see it has nothing but wonderful things to say about it. We had a vision for what we wanted the end result to be – not only did Tony and his entire Mixedesigns team make that happen – they made it even better. From the moment Tony stepped into that old crappy bungalow he had amazing, unique and creative ideas of how to design the house. We built this house during a brutal winter and had a lot of problems thrown our way – Tony always made time to meet with us to ensure things were progressing, that we were happy with what was being done, to explain to us what was going on and to provide options for solutions to the problems we faced. He always took into consideration our budget when offering solutions. Tony always made himself available despite his busy schedule whether it was a for a simple question, a not so simple question or help shopping for the perfect design elements. Although we don’t plan on doing a reno again anytime soon (we LOVE our new house) we hope that we do get to work with Tony and his team again in the future and would happily recommend him regardless of the size of the project. We could have built this house with any contractor….but without Tony there is no way we would have ended up with the finished product that we did - without his vision, fresh ideas and dedication our house would not be as special as it is. Tony - we can't thank you and your team enough for making this happen for us!
