We have had AAA alarms 4 years without any issues, and once they were taken over by Securetek who are out of Saskatchewan we have had constant problems. Our alarm went off one day and we were not contacted that the alarm was going off, which is what happened with AAA . They also said they dispatched a guard to check on the house, which never happened and they tried to charge us $45 which I refused to pay . They tried several times to get me to pay and I refused telling them a guard never showed up at our home, I know that because we were there minutes after the alarm went off. We still have monitoring but periodically they try and bring this $45 charge back and want us to pay it. With the amount of alarm companies out there, you would think that they would try and keep the customer happy. Would I recommend this company , heck no.

AAA alarms installed a monitored smoke detector when they installed our new home alarm system. One time when we were out they called us and let us kbow our smoke detector was going off, and they contacted the fire department. If they hadn't recommended that detector our house may have burned down.
