We were approached by this company at our house, we were quoted $300 All-In providing we pay cash or cheque. We were told that we won't need to pay till a week later because they want to make sure that the job was done right. They then provided an invoice with tax on top and apologized that their sales rep is new and will not honor the quotation.

I apologize for the inconvenience and the miscommunication that occurred. Unfortunately, we need to charge HST on the invoice no matter which form of payment you choose; we have Federal regulations to follow - as it is stated in our contract that applicable taxes are added to the service.
