We have had the Protection Maintenance plan for several years. In March 2014 Reliance offered a Nest thermostat with a 3 year contract for the plan. I was told that we could get one but had to sign for the contract. The nest was sent in May. The maintenance service was scheduled for Jun 2nd. No one showed up until we called and the service person refused to install it. He also told us that it wasn't "proven". I called Nest and they don't install? I called Reliance and told that it would cost $89 to install!!!!! The marketing of the plan and the Nest thermostat has been a negative in our experience with Reliance. We are not installing the Nest and thanks to the great marketing I have been taken advantage of with locked in 3 year contract at a higher monthly rate. I am not happy! Thursday June 5th 2014 My issue has been resolved promptly. I appreciate the emails and phone calls and my thanks go out to Mat for his quick resolution of my concerns. As I stated previously ,we have had the Protection Plan for years and have never had a problem. Thank you to those at Reliance for listening to our issues. LJP
