After a slow start (it was a very busy time of year for outdoor jobs), Spectrum did a fab job on my porch ceiling. I needed the old, damaged plaster removed and the ceiling insulated before a new ceiling put up and painted. The handyman team was polite and extremely clean. The painter was equally as tidy. I love how it looks and can't complain a bit.
Met the NorthShore Eavestough guys at the spring home show in Toronto and thought they seemed professional. They came quick when I called for an estimate even though I was slightly out of their geographic zone. I had a terrible time finding other companies that could respond so fast! Once the contract was signed, work was done in a reasonable time. The staff were clean, safety conscious and professional. They let us know of other problems on the roof or with the bricks. Clean up was great. But the best part was follow-up. Work was done Friday, and the owner was by on Saturday to check things out. Since our neighbor's eavestroughs in our semi-detached home were done at the same time, we were both home to share our feedback. There were a few marks on the front eavestrough - barely noticable - but the owner had it changed first thing Monday morning. It looks great and works even better. Angela, the receptionist, always returned calls, and Darren, the owner, was nothing but polite. I would recommend them to anyone! Definitely 5 stars.
