Very long story short: charged us $650 to repair our fridge, replaced 2 parts, "fixed" it Thursday night (May 23 2014), still not working as of Friday morning. Called to report, told it's a "warranty call" and that I'd have to wait up to 48 hrs for a return call. It's been over 48 hours, no return call. Had another repair person look at it in the meantime, and was told the parts replaced were useless and unnecessary since the fridge is leaking gas and is un-repairable (or not worth it financially). So they charged us $650 for an unnecessary repair, and have not honoured their "warranty" service. I have had to buy a new fridge since as I have two small children and have been without a fridge for a week. According to many other reports, their M.O. seems to be to say they're charging $80 for the service call, but very quickly it turns into $280 labour plus parts. I'm 100% positive that if they had come out for the warranty call, they'd tell me I needed another expensive part plus labour and I'd be in this loop de loop with them all over again. They have 35 other similar complaints on the Better Business Bureau and many complaints on HomeStars. No smoke without fire, I say.
