Pros: they let you take the rug home and try it out. If you don't like it, it doesn't fit/look good, you can return it for a full refund. Cons: lousy customer service. I ordered an area rug on January 2, 2014. I agreed to wait for the next shipment, as mine was an unusual size. Ten weeks later, I phone, where's my rug? Apparently there is some screw up India, the country of origin, and it's going to be another 4 to 6 weeks. So I call today, looking for my rug and a discount for the hassle. What do you know? Yet ANOTHER 6 to 8 week delay. Again, blamed on India. I have my doubts about that story. I think I am being pawned off for being a pain. No way to prove it, it just leaves me with a distaste for Alexanian and their business practices. Further to that, a couple of points to remember: 1. GET IT IN WRITING. If the salesman casually mentions he will throw in something like the underpad, get him to put it on the bill. I was promised this at sale, then offered it as consideration for the delay in delivery! 2. Do your research: Check the online price before you discuss anything with a salesman. Tell them to beat the online price, because those prices are questionable! I checked online, the "sale" price on January 2nd is the "sale" price today (May 20). If we don't have regulations about what can legitimately be called a sale price, we should! Sales don't last 6 months.

Hi Antoinette, I am aware of the issue that you have had with our Mississauga location. I am truly sorry for the delay and the frustration you have experienced. I had spoken with our rug supplier yesterday and they have also agreed to provide you some compensation due to the delay, but I completely understand if you cannot wait any longer.
