Sturgeon Flooring is located in Gibbons, but serves the greater Edmonton area. They have excellent pricing, prompt service and quality work. Any issues, all of which were minor, were promptly addressed with no added expense. I'd highly recommend Sturgeon Flooring to anyone looking to renovate or someone doing new construction.

We contacted Aire Serv (formerly Excel Heating & Cooling) for a quote on the supply & install of central AC for our home. Owner Blake Livingston came to our home, did an inspection, explained our options along with his suggestions and provided us a quote that was better than the other two we received from larger companies for the exact same model. Blake and his staff were professional, friendly and honest about their work. They did the work on time, on budget and without any hassle. We recommended Blake to a number of our friends, all of whom used his services and were pleased with his work.

$2,000.00

Hi Mike, these days most of my installation work is from referral. I'm glad to hear you and your friends are happy with our work! Thanks for your review and referrals. Blake.

To The T Landscaping is owned by Mr. Thomas Nowicki. Thomas is a hard working, honest individual who I hired two years in a row to do my residential snow removal. Not only is Thomas professional, but he keeps his word and went above and beyond on a regular basis. I would highly recommend To The T Landscaping to anyone looking for lawn or snow maintenance services.

I contacted Nutri Lawn (now known as GREENLAWN) to do a one time application for weed control which they did promptly. Over the next six months, they proceeded to hound me with weekly calls wanting me to agree to a contract, more applications, etc. I flat out said no and by the third month - told them to take me off their contact list which they never did. They continued to hound me into the spring. One day my wife came home to find their truck blocking our driveway and told the Nutri Lawn employee to move it or it would be towed. She later realized they had done an application on our lawn and left a bill in the mailbox. Having had enough, I filed a complaint with Service Alberta under the Consumer Protection Act stating that the actions taken by Nutri Lawn constituted a negative option contract and such contracts in Alberta are illegal. Nutri Lawn was ordered by the Alberta Government in 2011 to cease such practices. Those experiencing the same issue with Nutri-Lawn can file a complaint with Service Alberta under the Fair Trading Act. For those who don't know, a negative option contract is where a vendor assumes that a contract is in place unless you act.
