Derek Phung #2393 was an articulate technician that did a fine job explaining and taking care of the furnace problem. He gets a 10 star rating from me. The company itself I'm disappointed with. 1. Called 2pm yesterday and was told a technician would arrive 7-11. I'm assuming 7 to 11pm after all heat isn't working and it's near zero outdoors and the house is cooling down. Plus I'm paying for the yearly maintenance plan. 10:30 arrives and I call and they tell me it's 7-11am! Really??? 2. Today they call me and tell me around 10 that the technician will call you as soon as he is coming you way. Once again I'm assuming ok.. great he'll be here soon. Hence the company is calling in advance. That was not the case. Closer to 1pm. Nonetheless Derek made up for Reliance's poor communication. I'd hope Reliance would realize how crucial it is that they be clear because we didn't have to sleep in a cold house and could've gone to our parents place!!
