I used this company late last summer (Aug 1) to move from a condo in Markham to a condo in North York. My feelings are a bit mixed on the experience I had. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. The front desk was great at booking my move. The two guys showed up a bit early on move day, elevators were not ready yet but that is not their fault. The guys were pleasant and to their credit, they did move boxes quickly (each load piled up very high) but at the same time they were also a bit rough on some of my furniture. A week after my move, I discovered one corner of my solid wood Urban Barn coffee table and one corner on the matching tv bench were cracked. The guys also took quite a long rest break in the afternoon (over half an hour). Moving my flat screen TV was also charged an extra fee. At the end of the move, the guy invoiced me and I paid with cash and gave them a decent cash tip too. About an hour later, the guy calls me back and told me he made an error and short charged me for one hour! He wanted me to return to the drop-off location to pay the extra hour. I told him I was already back in Markham because that is where I have to be to return the keys to my landlord. He agreed to come to Markham but it was a huge hassle and annoying since I was already extremely pressed for time. They took a very long break and I gave them a good tip and calculations were a mistake on their part. Overall, it was just a lukewarm experience for me.

Pro Painters Toronto painted a new condo unit for me and I am very pleased with their professionalism and their work. It was my very first time hiring painters and I was pleasantly surprised with the positive and hassle-free experience I had. I really appreciate that Cam and his crew were able to get the job done quickly for me (on a weekend and completed in only one day) which made it really convenient on me. They are all hardworking guys who are proud of their work, all the edges were very clean, and you also get to inspect the work before you pay anything. Cam was also really great to deal with, very reliable and diligent in getting back to me on any inquiries I had via phone, e-mail and/or text. Last but not least, he is also very reasonably priced! – I went out for 3 quotes before going with Cam and believe it or not, one well-known retailer quoted over double what Cam quoted me. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cam and Pro Painters Toronto to any of my friends, family or colleagues, and would hire them again to do painting work in a heartbeat!
