I cannot possibly say enough great things about this moving company. They truly came through for us in a moment of need and their professionalism and service was simply outstanding. Last night at 4pm my fiancée and I had movers booked to arrive at our home to move us to our new home. I had confirmed all the necessary details with [another - ed] Toronto movers (time, location, quoted amount, contact #s) and reconfirmed the day before our move once again. The movers were over an hour late with no phone call and when they arrived told us they don’t “do stairs” and if we wanted to proceed with the move there would be an additional charge of $200 for the stairs (this is after I confirmed there were no hidden or additional costs). Needless to say we did buy this “bait and switch” tactic and told them to leave. When I called GTA Moving Service we truly were in a moment of panic given we only had possession of our home until midnight and the new owners would be moving in. Within 10 minutes they were able to confirm a team of movers for us that night and also assured me of their professionalism and honesty. From my first interaction with the company on the phone, to the moment the moving crew left our new home (job totally complete in under 3 hours) the entire team showed us an extraordinary amount of respect, professionalism, honesty, and service that is indeed rare. I will never use or recommend another moving company except GTA Moving Service again.
