Contacted Binnie Mechanical through a referral from my brother. The owner, Dave showed right on time as promised. Dave was very honest and knowledgeable. He told me right up front that he would not be the cheapest but not the most expensive either (I don't look for cheapest, you get what you pay for). He was bang on in where his quote would be. I was impressed with his honesty and knowledge. Dave made recommendations as to what was really required in order to get the most efficient and best performance from the system. Decided to go with Binnie Mechanical. The whole crew showed up on the day and time as promised. The install and installers including Dave were all very professional, clean, respectful, quick and the installation was nothing short of impressive. Dealing with the office was also a real pleasure. Pat went out of her way to make sure all my questions (which were numerous) were answered in a friendly and professional manner. Was having problems with scale build up in kitchen appliances. After a lot of information gathering on the net and talking to people, it was suggested to use bottled water only which I did but that got to be very expensive. The other suggestion was to go with a reverse osmosis system. I called up a few contractors for a quotation on the install. When I spoke to Tim and Angela I got a very warm and comfortable feeling right from the start. Tim came out had a look, quoted me a price which was comparable to the others but what sold me was his honesty and pointed me to exactly what I needed. He did not over sell me for something that wasn't required and he actually had samples of the additional tap you need to install, thus allowing you to see it with your existing tap. Installation was done very quickly (less than an hour) and work area was left in same condition as when Tim arrived. Service attitude...very polite and nothing was a bother.
