Our new home has Gienow windows and doors throughout. The house is 2 years old and all bedroom window leak air in the corners. Even the fixed panes leak air. During the winter months we have frost on the inside due to the air leakage. We have contacted Gienow to have them fixed but they tell us it is normal "thermal transfer." I'm not a thermal transfer expert but when wind is blowing against the window enough air comes through to blow out a lighter. With the quality of these windows and the approach the company has taken to help us get the windows repaired I would recommend other companies.
