We called for an estimate early in March, essentially just hoping to get on the list of customers for when the snow went away. We thought it would be impossible to install the eaves with all the snow around the house. Very quickly, Alexis (Operations Manager) came to our house, provided an estimate and told us that they could proceed with the work almost immediately. Their installers showed up about a week later and did a fantastic job of the installation. Because of the timing, we had the new eaves trough in before the snow started to melt, which was great. Also, instead of asking for a huge deposit up front, Alexis told us that he didn't want a deposit and that they would invoice us only after the work was done and we were completely happy with it. That was a very good sign that they have confidence in their work. We were so happy with this first job that we will use them to install new siding on our home. I highly recommend them...I can see why they have been in business for so long.

Last fall (2012) we hired SMB to put in a stamped concrete patio and a stamped concrete driveway. They mixed up the colours, so the driveway and patio are both the wrong colour. They have refused to make minor repairs (chips, cracks that appeared over the winter) even though we have a full warranty. They do not return calls or emails. The rep asked that our cheque be payable to his personal account vs the corporate account. Stay away from these guys, especially if you need after-sales service. Once they have your cheque they are gone!
