We had our Windows installed in early 2013 all went well. After the installation I did some quality checks on the windows and noted that the rubber seal on the inside of the windows had what looked like puncture holes in them. I also noticed that some windows had some dirt, spots between the glass. So I called Westeck and they told me they would get back to me. Weeks later I called again and nobody returned my calls. I went to the office in Chilliwack and spoke to the receptionist at the front counter who told me she had passed the message. Again I asked for someone to stop in and have a look at my complaint. About one week later a service technician came over to my house and looked at my windows. When asked about the puncture holes in the rubber seal he told me that the needle used must have been dull when the windows were manufactured. They told me the windows are fine and the gas would not leak. When asked about the dirt between the windows I was told that only one window would be replaced, as the other windows did not meet the warranty specifications for dirt visible at 3 meters. Had I known how bad this product was going to be, I would have inspected each glass before installation. So now I was told they would order me a new glass and install it. After almost one year of waiting they still have not installed it. Wow what a surprise… So at the beginning of this year I went back to Westeck and ordered a French door (what was I thinking) At the time I ordered the French door I told the sales person about my problem and he told me it would be looked after. After getting my French door installed I waited one more week to see if they would contact me about my warranty issue but they did not. I decided to go to the office in Chilliwack and speak to someone. I walked to the front counter and spoke to the receptionist who told me to leave my name and number again. I told her why should I, they never call back and I went on explaining my previous issue. At the same time a manager walked past and I told him the issue and again he told me they would take care of me and have someone contact me. Well guess what, it has been one week and nobody contacted me again. I have officially given up on this company and have told my daughter not to purchases any windows from this company. They are full of promises and no actions. The leadership in this organization is clearly lacking and does not have a grip on its employees.
