My husband and I own a rental property in which we are obligated to provide certain amenities to our tenants. When our washer and dryer needed to be replaced we searched around quite a bit. We found a nice set at The Brick in the East end of Regina, which happened to be on sale. When we asked when it would arrive in store we were told 4 days later. We are from out of town and arranged to come and pick the set up a week later, giving them an extra 3 days to come in. When we arrived, we were told they ordered the wrong set and they would be in a week later. A week later we came back into town and alas... still not washer and dryer. On the 3rd time we spoke with customer service who assured us it would be in the next week. When it wasn't in 4 weeks later we returned to customer service and asked to speak with the manager. The manager actually told us he didn't care and could care less if we returned to the store!!! When we finally mentioned that we had tenants who were unhappy with the fact that we had not provided them with the amenities promised they explained how their system works. The told us that they only order in a certain amount each month and you get bumped for the person who ordered ahead of you. Fair enough, but make your customers aware of such a thing! When we mentioned this to them, they told us that we wouldn't have bought from them, which is why they don't tell people this! I think that is unsatisfactory! We got a phone call on the Thursday notifying us our arrival was ready for pick up.... IN CALGARY! When we mentioned we were supposed to be picking it up from Regina Saskatchewan we were told it would arrive on Tuesday. Thankfully it did and we finally got our purchase in a week and a half after telling them we had tenants who we were providing for. I couldn't believe that not even an apology was given!
