I am writing on behalf of my elderly mother who hired Rapid Rooter to replace leaking taps. Her sons and neighbours were on vacation and no-one was around to help. In my opinion, Rapid Rooter took advantage of mother, charging her more than $1,700 to replace a set of taps. They originally quoted $500. The invoice is illegible and does not even have a phone number or invoice number on it. I do not understand how they break the charge down. The company will not or cannot explain the bill. My mother, on a fixed income, must now take out a loan to pay off this outrageous bill. I do not recommend this company and question their ethics.
