My tenant's dog brought fleas into my house. Before I realized what the problem was, my house was infested. Joe came over quickly and thoroughly sprayed the house. He came back two weeks later to do another spray. Fleas are very difficult to get rid of. He advised me to move my couch out to the garage for a week to kill the persistent ones and it worked. Thanks for the review. Remember that nobody is immune to fleas and they can enter a home via a pets daily walk past a flea infested area. Fleas just wait for a ride, hop on your pet and before you know it they are in your living room jumping around all over the place.Typically, I tend to get calls ( not in this case though) regarding a flea problem after a client has been attempting to control them on their own. One must remember that a flea extermination can go wrong quickly and results in fleas being spread all over a home. I therefore strongly recommend that this particular pest be left up to an exterminator to control. A systematic approach along with the use of an IGR ( insect growth regulator) and the correct insecticide is required to rid a structure of fleas. In this particular case I wanted the fleas to gravitate towards the couch, which was then treated and quarantined outdoors. A little trick I learned from a seasoned exterminator and true mentor.
