After running around town to get an idea of what flooring would work with the current colour scheme in my home. I had narrowed down the flooring choices between two different brands. I received the quotes from the two different stores and they were in the same ballpark. I then proceeded to ask my neighbours about who they had both used to refinish and install their hardwood floors. I was very impressed with the floors at both my neighbours homes and they were very satisfied as well. When I called Patrick he said that he could get the engineered hardwood of my choice for a price of more than $1/sq ft. less than one of the other quotes. His installation rate was a little lower than the other quotes and overall, his quote was $800 less. The work is very good and the areas which I had a little concern was with the transition areas to ceramic with the threshold pieces. In comparison to some of my other friend's that have installed hardwood floor, the threshold was smoothly ramped down to meet the ceramic floors, very nice and clean, something I could never do on my own. Patrick and crew were done in two days and they really know what they are doing and do not cut corners on any steps from prep to the end of the project. Patrick is very accommodating and even quickly fixed the base of an armoire with some glue and staples. He also took away all the carpet, under-padding and tack boards, which were removed prior to installation. If I have any other future hardwood related projects, Patrick will be my first choice. I can confidently recommend his services to anyone who wants to have beautiful hardwood floors installed properly.
