We hired Ian based off his raving reviews to renovate our master ensuite back in August. Oriflginal time-line was about 6 weeks. Initially he was a week delayed, no problem. Demo started 1 day then didn't resume for another week. We acquired all necessary materials, finishes, etc PRIOR to when he requested them for so that there were no delays on our side. There were MANY days where he would not show up, not inform us that he needed to reschedule the day; not answer his texts, phone calls, or emails. I was stuck at home waiting and wondering if he'd show up that day. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. He was slow while working, would ask to use my personal tools, tiles not laid flush in the shower. His tile cutter was not sharp and destroyed every tile it cut. The niche is not flush, and he's had to return multiple times to address deficiencies. The lack of communication and attention to detail gave us the nightmare experience of this reno. This reno took 6 MONTHS to finish and there are STILL issues that need addressing that he is refusing the address. Stay away from iLevel and Ian unless you have all the time in the world to hope that he shows up and does a half decent job.
