We hired Ian based off his raving reviews to renovate our master ensuite back in August. Oriflginal time-line was about 6 weeks. Initially he was a week delayed, no problem. Demo started 1 day then didn't resume for another week. We acquired all necessary materials, finishes, etc PRIOR to when he requested them for so that there were no delays on our side. There were MANY days where he would not show up, not inform us that he needed to reschedule the day; not answer his texts, phone calls, or emails. I was stuck at home waiting and wondering if he'd show up that day. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. He was slow while working, would ask to use my personal tools, tiles not laid flush in the shower. His tile cutter was not sharp and destroyed every tile it cut. The niche is not flush, and he's had to return multiple times to address deficiencies. The lack of communication and attention to detail gave us the nightmare experience of this reno.

This reno took 6 MONTHS to finish and there are STILL issues that need addressing that he is refusing the address.

Stay away from iLevel and Ian unless you have all the time in the world to hope that he shows up and does a half decent job.

I had a wonderful experience with iLevel Contracting Inc. They installed several potlights, relocated my washer and dryer including connections, installed several plumbing fixtures, and a few other general repairs for me at a very reasonable price and finished the work within the timeline we set out. They were professional, polite and the quality of their workmanship was fantastic. I would definitely use them again for any of my upcoming renovation projects and I highly recommend them. iLevel Contracting does a fantastic job! We hired them to transform a bedroom into an ensuite bathroom in our new home. While there were definitely hurdles along the way, Ian and Rene communicated everything to us in a timely manner and gave us options to fix the inevitable extras that come with any project. Timelines got a little bit skewed due to COVID production issues for some materials, but Ian and Rene worked hard to mitigate any delays. The work was high quality and very professional. We have many more projects we hope to hire them for in the future!

We started looking for a home renovation company to do our bathroom since mid May and even though we had an unprecedented situation we were still positive that everything will go through. This is our first renovation since we bought the house and we had fears and doubts in our mind. We did a search in the Trusted Pro website (the site looks legitimate) where each company was rated by the people who hired them. There was one company who has a stand out rating not only for bathrooms but for everything that needs an upgrade in a house from simple to complicated renovation. This is iLevel Contracting and we are very proud and happy that we hired Ian and Rene. They made an excellent job in our first bathroom as it’s more than we expected and they really paid attention to details. Ian, Rene and the entire team are very skilled, professional, trustworthy, punctual, organized (they had itinerary of what will be done in each day during the entire renovation) and they maintained cleanliness at the end of the day. The project took about a week and Ian provided regular updates regarding progress, materials, costs and estimated timing to complete.

During the construction Ian communicated suggestions for additional upgrades and improvements to the deck structure. He provided a good explanation and costs of each option so that we could make an informed decision.

We recently hired I Level Contracting to complete a bathroom renovation in our home. We found Ian and Rene to be highly professional and helpful throughout the process which included an unfortunate delay due to the Covid 19 shutdown. We were kept informed throughout the wait, and Ian and Rene were very accommodating when rescheduling a restart date. We were impressed with the quality of their work and found them very easy to work with in our home.
