When we met with the SierraGates owner, we were reassured from the very start that we would get a turnkey project. We got a full explanation of the terms of the contract; with budget elements and financial staging of payments clearly identified. It was also clear that SierraGate were serious about responding to individual client needs and goals. Even before the contract was signed, as we worked with the owner and his architectural consultant on the design concept: walls were moved, windows created and the main floor dimensioned to accommodate disability and wheel chair access, all with a give and take in discussion that gave us confidence that it would be the same during the build. The team at SierraGate really went the extra-mile in coping with the shortages of material and manpower, and all the myriad of Covid- caused external delays ,in order to reach completion as soon as was feasible all the time without compromising on quality. At the start, the owner told us : Hire me, and I will work with you on what you want and then look after all the details. And, with the assistance of an excellent team, he did. His employees and sub-contractors were uniformly professional pleasant and cooperative, always ensuring that we knew what they were doing, while sharing our enthusiasm, for the site and the building. We now have the house of our dreams, that makes us smile every time we open the door. The house is more than we could ever have hoped for: a quality build, with good finishing and design that meets our individual needs and is trouble-free to run. This outcome was far from guaranteed, given that late 2020 was also the most challenging of times to embark on such a major project. We would unreservedly recommend this company.
