Unbelievable. I had Bytown come by to give me an estimate on replacing my driveway. Their estimator came by and gave me a quote. Deposit was paid for the work. Fast forward about 6 weeks, they call me today, within 24 hours of when they were supposed to do the work telling me the owners are demanding I pay an extra $3,000 because they drove by and realized I live on a busy street and they will need to have flag men. Their estimator had been physically to my house and I spoke with him at length about the requirements before I paid the deposit. It wasnt even the owners who called me, they made the poor estimator, Gerry, who I let know how unimpressed I was with the company. What a waste of my time. Avoid.
