One year ago, we were in need of new eavestrough and leaf guards around our whole house. Simon at Guildwood Roofing was one of the guys who gave us a quote. He took the time while up on the roof to take pictures so he could show me reasons as to why we should have them replaced. He was the only company who did this, which impressed me to say the least. He was very genuine and honest with his quote. While a couple of other companies were quoting and telling me that we needed to replace the soffit and fascia, Simon said it was absolutely not necessary. He could have easily told us to replace them and we would have paid to have it completed. Fast forward to two weeks ago, during heavy rain we had a very small leak that I could hear above our bedroom. We were definitely in need of a new roof. Simon came over for a quote and again took pictures of the old shingles, and any damaged shingles etc as to why it was time for a new roof. Again, he was the only one to do this. After getting quotes, we decided to have Simon at Guildwood Roofing do our roof (I kind of knew Simon would be getting the job, but I still had to do my due diligence and get a couple other quotes). I was very happy with him from the previous work mentioned above. Simon mentioned he wouldnt be able to fit us in for a couple weeks because he is very busy, which I understood and said I would wait for him to schedule a date when he could come. Then last week, with more incoming rain on the holiday Monday, I was nervous about water dripping in. I called Simon to see if anything could be done as a temporary fix. He then told me that he would come over, not to mention on the Friday evening of a long weekend, to tarp my roof so no water would get in. Thats amazing service if you ask me! He was able to squeeze us in today and wow what an amazing job! Simon and his crew are very professional and made a point of showing me the progress and exactly what they were doing throughout the day. After our roof was complete, I couldnt believe how clean and tidy they were. You wouldnt even know we had work done on our house today. Needless to say, I highly recommend Simon and Guildwood Roofing to anyone looking for roof work. I have, and will continue to recommend him to anyone I know. Thanks for a great job Simon and team!

We had both of our entry doors replaced by this company last year. I have sent numerous emails and calls to their salesperson James, and also contacted the company to have them rectify the issues with zero response on how the issues will be looked after. Both doors have a lot of draft coming through which is really noticeable in the winter months. One of the doors has also cracked in two places. I will make sure that they do not get any business from friends, family and neighbours after handling my concerns poorly. Do your self a favour and stay away from this company, they obviously do not stand behind their products.
