John and his team came highly recommended from a neighbor of ours and little did we know at the time that John had done quality work on our place before we had purchased it a few years earlier. First and foremost the two things I would like to highlight was the responsiveness and quality of the work. These are really the two things you look for in a contractor as price expectations really vary by each individual customer. Never did I wait for a response from John when inquiring about original designs or last minute changes. So much so that on the night before our new fridge was to arrive John had the foresight to ask us what fridge we had landed on and when we told him he was quick to explain that it would not fit! This saved us a significant hassle of having to return the fridge. The quality of the work on our floors, counter tops and railings exceeded our expectations. Another thing I would like highlight that really sealed the deal in going with John and his team was prior to signing a contract we had picked out our floor from a distributor in Burlington. John had asked what floor we picked out and what the cost was per sq.ft. Once we told him John was in shock he literally said I cannot let you pay that much for that kind of flooring. John recommended a distributor that had almost identical flooring that saved us ~$8,000 or 50% of the original cost! The trust was sealed from that moment on. Last but not least was the timeline. Demo, new subfloors throughout, new flooring, new counters and new railings were completed in 10 days! Unbelievable. We would recommend John to our family and friends and plan to use him in the future. Feb 2023
