Mike Heeley at Heeley Inspections was referred to me by my realtor (Emily Cassolato) and I am so glad. Mike performed a home inspection for me in March and there are somethings that I would call out as 'above and beyond': 1) Mike took time to explain each area of the house we were inspecting and, especially useful to me as a newcomer to Canada, explained the differences between Scottish and Canadian systems / appliances. 2) Mike made sure I understood all of the constituent parts of the house as we walked around. Nothing was too simple or too complex to ask him and he was really clear in his answers without being condescending or frustrated by my lack of understanding. 3) He went above and beyond in advice too. He offered great advice on the best ways to service and maintain the fixtures, fittings and appliances in our new home. Mike is a great guy - punctual, friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Having Mike do this home inspection was by luck (through referral); the next one (or house project) I wouldn't hesitate to use Mike because he really knows his stuff.
