I used Platinum Pro last year for an exterior paint job for the house we were selling. They did a good job so I asked Chris to give me a quote to paint the interior of our new house, approximately 2300 sf.
Chris has hired some new staff since I last used Platinum's services, and I was impressed right off the bat, when Dave came over to take measurements for a quote. Our new house had been a rental, and there was a fair amount of wear and tear to the interior walls, and we needed 14 interior doors sprayed, a sizable kitchen island sprayed, and touch ups to the window sills, as well water damage repair to our living room ceiling .. a decent sized job for sure.
These guys are true professionals, Dave and the crew did a fantastic job. They kept the lines of communication open through the whole process. What I liked most about them is that they were genuinely concerned about doing a good job. Dave would offer suggestions that would take slightly more time, but in the end would make the finished job look better. For example, repairing some loose drywall, or touching up the ceiling where the wall colour had originally been over-painted.. and they did a great job touching up the nicks and cuts before they started painting.
I greatly appreciated this, as some contractors would rush through the work to get it done, so they can move onto the next job.
With the weather being so cold, they set up a spray area in our living room for the doors. This made me a little nervous, but after the job there wasn't a drop of paint anywhere where it shouldn't have been. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the work area, or masked it off, so we were able to keep our routine.
With any large job like this, there are always hiccups, but any issues or touch-ups that needed addressing were dealt with quickly and efficiently.
In addition, any requests or questions I had for Chris were immediately responded to, and I felt that he genuinely appreciated our business. The fact that Chris also arranged to have a Designer visit our house and offer colour suggestions was a huge help and added value, which saved us a lot of time.. a very nice touch, and Dee was great.
I'll be giving them a call in the spring to have them paint our fence and garage doors, for sure.
Don't waste your money hiring a company that uses junior temporary workers, there's something to be said for experience. The whole crew was great, but Dave in particular thoroughly impressed me with his level of experience and professionalism (and sometime patience).
In closing, I want to thank Chris, Dave, and the rest of the crew for a job well done. I would highly recommend them, and would be happy to speak to anyone thinking of using Platinum Pro.. I wish them continued success.
