I purchased a brand new condo unit from Lifetime Developments in early 2020. I have purchased with three of the other major builders in Toronto. This purchase was the worst experience I have ever had in my real estate portfolio. The entire team at Lifetime Development has no accountability and no value for their customers. I had multiple errors and issues during the purchase of sale, occupancy and even the PDI appointment. Their team was not helpful and extremely unorganized. They seem to lack the experience. They have a customer care” team lead by a “Vice President of Customer Care” which I question what this team actually does as taking care of their customers is not one of them. I tried speaking with the manager and VP of customer care and got the bounce around. When I did, they responded with a generic response. Basically did not care at all. Based on my view, Lifetime Development team will do everything to avoid taking care of the customer. They are however very quick when it comes to accepting your money and payments for the unit. - go figure. To buyers, I highly recommend avoiding this builder. Invest your hard earned dollars somewhere that actually values you, your time and investment. Save yourself a lot of long term stress, time and frustration. To the leaders of Lifetime development who I hope read this. I highly suggest taking a strong look at how you treat your customers and investors. Your customers allow you to keep building, so take care of them. Educate and train your team to actually provide quality service. Also, really look at your 'customer care' team as it is inefficient.
