This is the second time that I have called the Doctor for my front loading washing machine. The first was an easy job to replace the two shock absorbers. This one was different. The pump on my machine stopped working so my clothes were still soaking wet when they came out of the machine. I tried a little reset to see if that fixed the problem but no such luck. Call out to the Doctor and when he arrived, he confirmed my initial diagnosis. Online he went to confirm a new pump could be ordered. He was about to place the order and reschedule me for another day when he decided to "just take a look" at the pump. He followed the processes and vacuumed out the water and took out the pump. When he took the pump apart he found a worn out quarter had slipped all the way through the machine into the reservoir of the pump. The coin was the reason the pump was not able to do its job. After he reconnected the pump and the power he did a little water test to confirm that the pump was working. Morale of the story - check your pockets for loose change and call the Doctor if you have an appliance issue.
