Robert and his crew from Cutting Edge Roofing were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them! After finding out we had developed a leak, we put a call out to the top 3 roofing companies listed here on Homestars website. We ended up going with Robert and crew based upon meeting him and spending some time talking over the job. Although our original plan was to re-shingle the area that was leaking (450 sq ft addition), we opted to tackle the entire roof as it was on it's final year... We received both higher and lower quotes from other companies - Cutting Edge was middle ground. Robert stopped by a few weeks before the job was started to tarp off the area of our roof which had developed a leak. The day the roof was to be replaced, Robert and his crew arrived early and prepped the entire house. Tarps were laid, planters and furniture were moved and work commenced. The whole crew was extremely professional and very efficient. The roof was completed, all debris cleaned up and house put back together in about 9 hours. I arrived home from work and aside from a new roof, could not even detect Cutting Edge had been there! Not one nail or remnant of shingle remained. Robert installed his Standard 6' of ice and water shield, 8 new roof vents, two new bathroom vents, new plumbing and chimney flashing. We opted for the 50 yr Owens Corning Duration shingle at a minimal extra cost. I am an avid DIY'er and very hesitant to have any contractor working on my home.
