I purchased a full HVAC system including Furnace, AC and Hot water tank to replace the aging system in my 80 year old home. Brian provided a quote that was very competitive and he seemed professional, courteous and competent so I decided to go with Mandarin. Brian and his crew showed up on time for both the initial inspection and install. This said a lot as we had three other companies come in to quote on the job and all showed up late. Brian removed my old equipment and began installing the furnace in November 2011, which was a very cold day. They encountered some issues when installing the furnace (being an old home) but Brian stayed well into the evening to ensure my family had heat. He came first thing the next day to install the AC unit, replace the hot water tank and the rest of the equipment. When they finished the job, it was a very clean and professional installation. They removed all the old equipment and when they left, the work site was cleaner then when they arrived. They left no trace that such extensive work took place. Since the installation, I had some questions and a couple of small issues. Every time I called Brian, he returned my call immediately and took care of everything quickly and effectively. He went out of his way to ensure we were happy and provided excellent service. On one occasion when he had to show up to make an adjustment, he removed his shoes and knocked instead of ringing the doorbell, knowing we had two young children. To me, it's those little differences that set many trades professionals apart. We have had several trades come through our home and few have been as courteous and professional as Brian. All in all we are thrilled with the work and the customer service we were provided. I highly recommend Mandarin Heating and Cooling for any HVAC work.
