I bought a bedroom set from Highland furniture and received the worst possible customer service and no bed set. The day I bought the set I was told to pay a deposit of $200 up front and the full balance on the day of my delivery. I live in a condo and the times to book the elevator are 9-12:30 and 1-4:30 and only available on Thursday as there was a moving on Friday and it would be booked all day. we explained this on the day of our purchase. we were told that they would call us the Monday before our delivery. they never called i had to, on that day they said that they could not deliver it. we made other arrangement's and the elevator became available on Friday from 1-4:30 ONLY. we told them that. they told us they would deliver from 12-4. we disagreed on the off chance that they arrived at 12. they told us they would call us back,. they called back saying the delivery was from 10-1. apparently they didn't understand the elevator was booked. we were able to work the elevator situation out the day before the delivery was supposed to take place. at 8pm on Thursday WE called THEM asking about what would happen if one of the items were damaged. we were told by the woman to go to hell and that they would not be delivering the bedroom set and referred to as "people like YOU". i then asked for my deposit back and they said to read the receipt and that they would not be giving it back. after i had read through the receipt it says that if I was to cancel they could keep our deposit but in this case they were refusing to deliver the set. they called us and it was a man this time. he then began asking personal questions such as my age and i told him i was 21. he said that i was playing childish games and have just finished high school. when i read what was on the agreement he said that i was playing a game of CSI and after making personal blows he still agreed not to deliver. DO NOT BUT FROM HERE
