Decent movers their price was the most competitive but because we moved “outside” the gta they charged us an extra 50 bucks which only was disclosed 2 days before moving The movers were exceptionally fast But they did drop my tv. Thankfully nothing was broken as we packed it quite well The 3 movers packed our condo fast called me to tell me they were going to get something to eat And then showed up to my new home and unloaded fast But I got charged for the entire time even though the movers stopped to eat. Wasn’t aware I was subsidizing the companies expenses to provide their workers a lunch It was also during covid two weren’t wearing a mask. They were decent enough movers and the price was good. Few nuances that turned me off

Thank you for your feedback, we hope/trust you are doing well in your new home.
We are a bit confused, and somewhat surprised, with your low rating, and also your version of events. We remember your move very well as you found out in the final hour that you did not have to move in with your mother in law in North York, ON. Instead you were approved for your own home just before moving day, and it would be in Calendon ON instead. We recall how happy you were, to be going to your own space in time for Christmas.
Our office staff revised your estimate to include the further distance, and the fuel charge. She emailed it to you right away, and discussed it with you as well.
In the end, your actual moving bill came in one hour under the new estimate, and 30 minutes below the original estimate too.
We did not raise your reduced rate to regular rates which automatically happens when we go outside of the GTA, as a courtesy to you and your husband.
We spoke with you at length prior to your move, and after the move as well. You stated you were happier than ever, your move went amazing, and the tv was accidentally knocked over but is working fine. (we don't move televisions without proper packaging and are glad you had yours).
So we are a little bit puzzled, why 5 months after your service, you decided to write a review that wasn't exactly how things were, you don't mention the extra discounts you received, as well as flexibility on our part just a few days prior to the planned move, and the final bill coming in less than both the original estimate and the revised estimate too. You stated that you were subsidizing our expenses while the movers took lunch, but you were not billed for their lunch break at all.
We always hope to leave a good impression with our customers, and work very hard to do so. We believed we had done so with you, and your family. We are sorry something unforeseen has happened half a year later to change your mind. We wish you all the best still.
