1st scheduled installation date was Feb 15th - no show, no phone call! WE had to follow-up with them and were given an excuse (bad weather). 2nd scheduled installation date was Feb 19th - again no show, no phone call! WE had to follow-up with several calls and again given an excuse as to why they didn't show up(illness). 3rd installation date was Feb 22nd - no show, no phone call! Again, WE had to follow-up and were told that the "drivers are on their way" Drivers did not show up, no phone call! Yet again another excuse (drivers broke granite during delivery). 4th installation date was Feb 26th - they arrived with DIFFERENT GRANITE (not the one that was selected in the showroom); WRONG COLOR(darker - this is a major issue when you have selected tile & cabinets to match granite); WRONG MEASUREMENTS (one piece had to go back to the factory to be resized), INCOMPLETE EDGING, VISIBLE SEAMS!!!! Note to Defacto: 1] DO NOT MAKE EXCUSES 2] TAKE RESPONSIBILITY (we took 4 days off work due to your unprofessional method of running a business) 3] IT IS NOT THE CUSTOMERS JOB TO FOLLOW-UP (it is YOUR responsibility to contact a customer if you can't show-up)How can you tell someone that you are "on the way" and not show-up? PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DEFACTO - You will truly be disappointed.
