We Hired Blue Planet to build our concrete ICF home in the northern suburbs of Chicago. The project started well, however, slowly went downhill. The interior finish jobs were not complete to our satisfatction and shoddily done. They argued with us about EVERYTHING that we thought was below standard. We had a stucco type product, called "Permacrete" applied as the exterior finish of the home. They led us to believe they would subcontract this job, too late, we realized they were to do it themselves. They did go to training, however, this was their first project and botched it badly leaving us with a house that we cannot easily fix. "Permacrete" corporation will not help us, there is nobody else in chicago that uses this product, and our builder thinks it is up to industry standards despite the fact that we have had an extensive report from a stucco inspector listing the many problems with our exterior finish. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! They talk a good game, but they do not know their business and are shoddy workmen in general.

OUr home was built last year. we wanted to build out our walkout to the lake we live on. It includes a bedroom, full bath, playroom, and living area with a full wet bar and a wine cellar. Michael was curteous, and very detail oriented and knew his work well. We would hire him again in a minute.

What ever I requested for them to do it was commpleted with no problem. I will use them again this year...They also do snow removal in the winter and shovel your walks. They will salt and do any extra at a great fee. I like that they arrive early in the morning so when we need to leave the snow is removed...
