Protech ran a gas line from the meter to the garage, with a tie in on the deck for the BBQ, installed a ceiling mounted gas heater with full hookup. Work also included all required air intake, exhaust from the heater, and related permits. The work was done in a timely manner and the job site was left very clean. We did have a concern later around placement of one pipe against the wall of the garage (to close for the stucco) which Protech corrected very quickly. I would definitely recommend working with Protech. From the long list of trades we have brought into the project Protech is one of only a few I would engage again.

The team were very responsive and onsite exactly when they said they would be. It started out as a nice weather day but turned really cold unexpectantly. The crew didn’t complain at all and focused on completing the job. Work looks top knotch with all flashing and placement as it should be. Venting is clean and not overboard (there are those out there that will vent to much which can be a problem too). Vents were nicely sealed as well. All exposed nails were covered nicely with silicone.

Thank you, Peter, for the comments.
It was a pleasure working for you.
You know what to look for, but most people don't.
We can get away with good enough type of workmanship, but for how long? Our work has to go thru decades of Calgary winters and numerous home inspections until the roof needs doing again.
We are always be available if you need help again.

Cori was in and did the work quoted. When he arrived he found out that our line was bigger than standard and required parts he did not have. He quickly went out and got the parts, and stayed within the quote. Work was done well and he left things clean at the end.

Cost is misleading as it does not include labour but rather just the purchase of the fake stone. The issue is with the stone though. Over time it will develope a white powder on the faux stone that if you do not clean off right away it will eat away at the surface. They do not tell you this, and when you send in an email asking about it, or a phone call, they just ignore you. The result is that the white powder eats away at the stone and you will not have a finish left other than raw concrete. AVOID THIS FAUX STONE.

Pete came to clean out our tank as part of our annual servicing that we perform. Last year was the first that we used him and will do so again. He shoed up on the day we requested, did a complete job, and provided an honest assessment of what state the tank was in. He didn't try to tell us that we need to clear the talk on a shorter timeline as others had tried to do. We will use him again this year and then determine if an annual clearing is needed.

Ranger was contracted to change the pluming for inclusion of a shower and sinks. Ranger was quick, efficient, clean, and very thorough. Showed up on the day and at the time committed to and the price reflected the time that he was on the job. He took the time to also explain what and why he was doing. I will use him again.
