It's our second time we use Nord-Ost services and we are very satisfied with both projects we did. The first project in our old house ~3 years ago included removing the old parquet and broadloom flooring in the whole house on a 1400 sqft area and putting a prefinished hardwood flooring and new baseboards. The cost of tat project was ~10000$, and out of that ~3500 was the contractor work. In this project we used Appalachian (Canadian) maple prefinished hardwood. The second project was done recently in our new house - removing the broadloom on the second floor of our new house (~1500sqft) and putting a prefinished hardwood flooring and new baseboards. The cost of tat project was ~12000$, and out of that ~4000 was the contractor work. This project was completed in 3 days. Overall the work was done very professionally and quick and clean. The results are great, and we were very satisfied with Maxim's (Nord-Ost owner) work.

Approximate cost of services:
$12,000.00
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
The quality of hardwood you use is very important for the final result, we saw that with our own eyes. In our first project we used prefinished maple hardwood from Canadian maker "Appalachian", while in the second project we used prefinished maple hardwood from Canadian maker "Superior" that Maxim (NordOst) owner has recommended to us. Although both hardwoods were great, we still could clearly see in the second project where the hardwood from "Superior" was used the result was better. We had less scrap wood left, the was no gaps between the planks at all, no gaps opened during the winter month when the humidity in the house changes, etc...
