I was scheduled to have the insulation installed on a Wednesday morning. When at noon no one had arrived I called the office. There was no one available to speak to. Finally at about 3:30 pm I got a call saying there had been issues and that they would come first thing Thursday morning. At noon no one had shown up so I called the office. No one was available. Then at about 3:30 I got a call saying they could come at 5:00 pm. I said fine, come. At 4:30 pm I received another call saying there was another issue, they were not coming. On Friday they called me to arrange to come on Monday afternoon, which they did. Then the blower broke down and a replacement truck had to be called in. The job that was supposed to take less than 2 hours took 5 days and 4.5 hours (the installers themselves were great). The company offered me a $100 discount and we settled with a $150 discount. It was a lot of inconvenience and I would have been far more satisfied if the company had made an effort to explain their situation and keep me informed about the delays How hard can it be to call the customer and give a reasonable explanation for the difficulties the company is having. Instead, I had to hound them!
