I strongly advise against using this company. While they complete the job, they do not honor their warranty and will find ways to evade responsibility. I had an expensive metal roof installed, and since then, I have had continuous problems with squirrels and now, a leaking roof and bubbling ceiling. Despite my complaints, they only send a salesperson to inspect the roof, who always insists there are no issues. This has been ongoing for two years. Thank you for your review. I'd like to address some points you mentioned to provide a clearer picture.
Firstly, our estimator, whom you referred to as a salesperson, has over 15 years of roofing experience. He is well-versed in roofing issues and capable of performing on-the-spot repairs when necessary. It's a bit unfair to assume he lacks roofing knowledge based on his current role.
Regarding your warranty concerns, it's important to note that, like any standard warranty in the market, our labor warranty does not cover animal damage or acts of God. Despite this, we have visited multiple times to fix squirrel damage at no extra charge, even though these repairs were not covered under our labor or manufacturer warranty.
When you reported the leak/bubbling ceiling(please upload it as well), we inspected the attic thoroughly and found no signs of moisture or leaks. You mentioned hiring another roofer with 25 years of experience, but this individual did not have WSIB and Liability insurance. We had agreed to review his findings and either compensate him for the repair or address the issue ourselves if a problem with the roof was found.
The recurring issue seems to be the squirrels. Unless animal control is engaged to relocate them, they will continue to return and cause further damage to your property, including the doors, soffit, and roof.
