They did not follow through on errors made. They promised one type of window and made an error for a key area of the house (the front). We offered to pay for more expensive replacement windows and to have them provide some discount for the incorrect windows and they did not go for this. They were to fix deficiencies in the windows and never came to do so. The CEO was rude and arrogant and provided very poor customer service, especially given the large dollar value of the service. The sales rep made errors and said he would deal with things but then never followed up or admitted the errors. We have to purchase new windows to replace again and to pay for repeat labour to install new windows again--about another 5K. They have given us nothing and not repaired or replaced the windows. We dealt with another window company before in Vancouver and they were great. We also just completed a major reno project and have not come across any company that had such poor customer relations and service as Westeck Windows.

P.L.in Victoria. Westeck appreciates your opinion and review. We are sorry you are unhappy with the windows supplied to you as per your plan elevation drawings provided to us and the standard CSA-A 440 codes. Also the President of our company took this complaint sufficiently serious to travel to Victoria in August 2011 and inspect the site personally. Upon investigation Westeck replaced the glass in 2 bathroom windows even though it was supplied as ordered and also provided an additional window at no charge. All of this was completed in August 2011. Westeck has offered a sharply reduced price but could not give you new, upgraded front wood windows for free as requested. Although six months later, the reduced wood window pricing continues to be available, subject only to full payment with the order. Brenda, Westeck Windows & Doors Customer Satisfaction Department.
