After extensive flooding in our basement was cleaned up, we looked at our options for installing new flooring. Originally contemplating doing the work ourselves, we stopped by Speers Flooring and was immediately impressed by the selection of laminates available. The shop was busy but the staff were attentive, professional, and very knowledgeable. They gave us good advice on how to install the laminate should we opt to do the work ourselves. We waited on a full estimate including installation before making a decision and were surprised and happy with the very fair price quote for installing both the laminate flooring and new baseboards. Paul - the contractor who did the estimate and the actual installation - was also friendly and efficient. The job took one day and the crew left everything very tidy once done. The end result looks fantastic. Dealing with Peter, the owner, was very easy and helpful as he was in touch throughout the process, keeping us informed.
