We are building a family home in downtown Oakville. As with most projects there is always something that you may put off or don't realize you need it until you really need it. For us this was our shower jambs - we didn't want to slow down progress on the house (lose out momentum), and we also didn't want to pay through our teeth. We measured our shower jambs, went up to metric, had our quote within minutes (I did get one more quote which was almost double - both price and timing for production). We ordered the jambs and they were ready for pick-up with a few days. At the same time I was looking for a specific tile in a specific colour ... that was still on showroom walls at many places, but out of stock everywhere! Mario took this upon himself to search for something that would be suitable (and really it wouldn't have been a big order - I only needed 10 square feet of it). Every time I have needed anything from metric, or had a question I have always been dealt with in a quick and professional manner. Thanks Mario and Metric staff!

We are building a family home in downtown Oakville - had been looking for flooring with no luck for some time. We saw a few we 'somewhat' liked at Speers (liked the texture of one, colour of another). Christine called the supplier - and found us 2 samples for us to consider (we picked them up within 24 hrs of our conversation with her). We decided on one ... and now we were in a time crunch! Greg came out immediately, we had a quote later that day (and yes we called for other quotes). No one was able to beat the quote, or the timing. We had delivery within the week and started install shortly after. Greg stopped by a few times to ensure humidity and conditions in the home were appropriate for install. Install was quick and professional (we already have a ton of compliments on the floor and we're not even done finishing). I have to say sometimes working with trades and suppliers can be frustrating (they seem to have their own timelines and agendas), Speers flooring is not the norm! We have always been dealt with in a quick and professional manner. Tile orders are always in within a couple days, there is always someone eager to help you when you stop by the showroom, and no one has beaten their prices or service.
