We engaged John/Vision Homes, on the recommendation of a friend, to reno our completely unfinished 2200 sq ft basement. This included adding a bathroom, a wet bar, a storage area, a lounge area and a golf simulator. This was our first experience with a major reno and having heard lots of nightmare stories from friends and colleagues we were prepared for anything. Turns out we had a great experience! John instilled a lot of confidence in us from the start that he knew what he was doing and was in control at all times. He also clearly has strong relationships with the people he brings in - from the electricians, plumbers, tilers, and painters etc. everyone was friendly, professional and cared about the work. Even when things didn’t go quite as expected, John was on top of it and any issues were resolved quickly. He and his assistant Tyler kept the place as clean as possible throughout the entire project which was also very much appreciated. John was really easy to work with, was responsive to any questions or concerns we had throughout the process and was always super patient and calm even in some challenging circumstances with a third party installer. We are incredibly happy with the way the basement turned out and would highly recommend Vision Homes to anyone considering any kind of a home reno project.
